James Corden Opens Up to Oprah About His Weight Loss Journey | Full Interview | WW

In this intimate, unedited conversation, James Corden speaks to Oprah about his success with Carpool Karaoke, losing weight on WW (formerly Weight Watchers), and his biggest hopes for his children. The half-hour discussion was part of Oprah’s Your Life in Focus: Be the Love You Need event, presented by WW, which aired in front of a live, Zoom-based studio audience.
Corden, who started his wellness journey with WW in early January, has lost 16 lbs.* so far.
He says: “As a man, it’s historically seen as it isn’t very sexy to say that you’re on a diet. Or it’s not very manly somehow to want to make changes in your own health. Because men drink beer and we go out and it doesn’t matter what you look like and all those things. And I actually think it’s the single most positive and sexy thing you can do to say ‘I would like to be a bit healthier. I would like to be a healthier presence in my family, for my children. I would like to feel better.’”

Guys. lost tons of weight doesn't need to be hard (I used to think it did). I'm going to give you some tips now. Look for a popular diet plan program called Custokebon Secrets (just search it on google). Thanks to it I've lost lots of weight. I shouldn't even be speaking about it cause I don't really want lots of other guys out there running exactly the same game but whatever. I am just in a excellent mood right now so I'll share the wealth haha.

Oprah is a joke. An embarrassment. I wouldn't touch any product that is associated with her. Sad that James gave her a second of his time. She surely doesn't deserve it.

I'd like a day we stop talking about weight and more about just trying to be healthy, but we all need to focus on the mentality behind food and why we are eating what we are eating. This health kick is a life change and it requires going deeper than making food choices that lead to weight loss because once you reach that goal weight, what next? Food cravings will always be around and all different types of foods will always surround you, but if you can understand why you want to reach for them then you can control your mental state better and not to where you have to hate junk food and think negatively that it's bad.

James vulnerability was so touching and he was indicating that there is a lot more to the weight issue than just counting points, when aprubtly thrown out by Oprah to "business as usual", lets do some advertising for WW. I would not want to have her as a personal friend.

When he mentioned the bars!!!! YES! I have fallen in that same trap so often eating 2 bars a day. Now in my first week of WW all the bars Inwas eating are 8 or more points its crazy!

I love James Corden so much I painted a portrait of him ❤️. I relate to him so hard, other than the being a man thing. I've done all the diets too. This was actually difficult for me to watch because of my disordered eating struggles.

My success in weight loss (I'm 76!!!) has been a App program my dear daughter put me on to: NOOM. And amazingly so, it has worked beautifully and I feel totally optimistic that it will always work for me! No diet involved... but a life style change! So bravo for making WW work for you. I tried it once, but it didn't work. NOOM has worked for me!

He's genuinely kind, sweet & funny. People love James because he's real. He works hard & brings a smile to so many. That's a gift for sure. I get what he's saying about facing his Emmy's everyday & ensuring he doesn't allow himself to get full of himself, but I hope he does know that he's a genius & it's OK to be proud of what he's done that isn't as easy as it looks and that's the genius part! Every person that has ever been on a diet has just said forget it once they ate something they shouldn't.😅 We get back uo!

Wow. So proud of him! I've lost 50 pounds the last couple of years because I stopped taking medications, but I know how hard it can be to consistant. It's not a one-time thing, it's a new lifestyle and I'm happy for him. :) You can do this James!

Agree 100%. SOOO many AMones influencers saying how "easy" fasting is. How "easy" their weight loss was. It may be true - for them and for some. But I think LEADING with that thought provides great discouragement for those of us who struggle for small successes. Not everyone has same hormones, same stress levels, same metabolism, same age, same history. Glad to hear him HONESTLY say that it is not easy.

very raw interview, kudos. however WW is ridiculous cause it allowes you to eat sheit as long as the points are alright. just eat healthy and you are ok. reading the labels is very important. my husband is a type 1 diabetic so i read the labels very carefully, being mindful is mandatory! shopping takes a little longer but its totally worth it! processed food is the enemy!

James makes us laugh all the time, we loved the Prince Harry interview for its unusual angle .... very sad about Harry & Megan interview. Harry Is much loved in the UK and the H&M interview has just caused a backlash of press invasion, got individuals saying the most horrific things, attacked the Royal family and put him and his family at risk. Certainly don’t think they have received good advice on Oprah interview. I wish Harry and his family well and hope everything works out for them. Sadly, it’s about keeping your council and move on. The light shining on his family isn’t 😌 great. X
